About Hesperia

Hesperia is located in Southern California about 78 miles Northeast of Los Angeles where Interstate 15 and US Highway 395 intersect. A gateway to the High Desert, Hesperia is home to Hesperia Lake Park, a great place for family picnics and fishing throughout the year. Hesperia Recreation & Park District offers a variety of programs and events such as the Hesperia Days celebration, Equestrian & Rodeo events, and much more. Hesperia is also within driving distance to many Southern California beaches, amusements parks, museums, attractions, sports arenas, entertainment, Las Vegas, and much more.

Hesperia was incorporated in 1988 and has seen a tremendous boom in population and business in the past 20 years. Current population of the City is estimated to be over 90,000. In addition, many commercial development projects have recently been completed or are under construction including major retail and industrial centers. With access to over 300,000 High Desert residents and a convenient location, Hesperia is a city full of opportunity.
